LexCoolCity.org proposes that you help support and educate local, state and federal policy makers in continuing and developing programs and investments that reduce carbon emissions and sustain a healthy environment as our legacy to future generations.

Below is information about existing policies and programs you can use and support, as well as policy examples from other places that promote climate stability.

Register to Vote   (If you are a US citizen of legal voting age) so that any time you talk with elected officials, you are talking as a constituent.

State-Level Policy

Building codes, economic policy investments, education and environmental regulation are generally legislated at the state level, except where policies and funding flow from federal programs.  Statewide coordination facilitates changes in these policy areas.
